Global leaders directly involved in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic will come together in one platform at FutureMed 2020, a conference organized by HIMSS and Clalit Health Services.
Decision makers, scientists and influencers, including HIMSS President & CEO Hal Wolf and HIMSS Chief Clinical Officer Charles Alessi, will present perspectives, practical insights and strategies of public policy and scientific innovation in response to COVID-19. Alessi also serves as conference co-chair.
The broadcast will include a unique perspective on the innovative steps taken by several countries, including Israel, in dealing with the coronavirus crisis while transforming healthcare and adopting digital health approaches.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will open the conference, which will be broadcasted July 23 on the FutureMed website, HIMSS, HIMSS TV and on and multiple news outlets including live broadcast on Israel's N12 news channel.
Sessions include Decision-Making During Recurring Crisis, The Technology to the Rescue, Accelerating Science in the Face of a Pandemic, and Bioconvergence: The Future of Healthtech.
